Dial-Up Access
The BCC company offers its clients quality service of dial-up access to Internet through the city telephone network.
For offering such a service the BCC company has three modem pools:
- (998-71) 132-1958 - multi-line (60 lines) number, connected to a universal access server AS5300 from Cisco Systems company; the server allows connection speed up to 56 Kbps;
- (998-71) 152-1235 - multi-line (60 lines) number, connected to a universal access server AS5300 from Cisco Systems company; the server allows connection speed up to 56 Kbps;
- (998-71) 152-1234 - multi-line (60 lines) number, connected to US Roboticsв Courier modems that allow connection speed up to 33.6 Kbps.
Testing the modem connection
Potential clients of the BCC company can use a special test login for checking the quality of the modem connection. Clients that connect with the test login have a restricted access: to the BCC company website www.bcc.uz and to the statistics server statserv.bcc.com.uz only.
For testing the connection it is necessary to create a new remote connection with the following parameters:
Username: iptest
Password: iptest
Phone number: any number of modem pools of the ВСС.
