WebMail

For the convenience of its clients the BCC runs web-interface e-mail access system (so called Webmail access). Webmail allows clients to have a full access to their mailboxes without using a special e-mail client software (e.g. MS Outlook Express) from any computer that is connected to the Internet and has a web-browser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Netscape, etc.)

To access the Webmail system the client has to go to the following site webmail.bcc.com.uz in the browser. A prompt window will be displayed where the login name and password should be entered.

The login name and the password are the same as in a regular mail client for the access to the BCC mailbox. For example, if a client has a mailbox with the address john@bcc.com.uz and the password is 'smith45' then in the field 'Username' should be indicated 'john' and in the field 'Password' - 'smith45'. The language in which the system will be displayed (default is English) can be selected from the list in the third field.

The Webmail allows the BCC clients to execute the following tasks:

  • view the list of messages in the mailbox
  • view single messages
  • delete messages
  • forward messages to a different e-mail address
  • print preview messages
  • write a new message
  • attach files
  • reply messages
  • create several folders for storing messages
  • work with mail folders (move, delete messages from folders)
  • work with an address book
  • change different settings for more convenient work with the Webmail
  • interface in different languages.

Deleting messages from mailbox or folder

For deleting a message or a group of messages from the mailbox or from the folder it is necessary to check the message(s) in the message list and click the 'Delete' link either on the top or on the bottom of the list. The message will be marked as deleted but won't be physically deleted from the mailbox (folder). If the client accesses his/her mailbox by the POP3 protocol (not via Webmail) the messages marked as deleted will be downloaded to the client's computer. In order to delete such messages completely from the mailbox the client has to click the 'Empty Trash' button in the left upper corner of the screen.
